My Review:
I loved this book. It was such a cute twist on Little Mermaid. Her mother is a twist on Ursula. It starts with Lira, a siren, that keeps letting her mother down. Lira has what her mother calls "Human emotions" so she takes to cursing Lira to land with legs. Lira has until Solstice to return the heart of the Prince Elian. Lira is the next in throne to be the Sea Queen and also known as Princess Bane. Prince Elian is a price of a kingdom of Gold but his heart is on the sea. He is a siren killer and he is hunt for the Princess Bane. In his search for the EYE of KETO, he finds a woman floating on the water and rescues her. What he doesn't know is what just happened to Lira. She was cast to the human land and needing the heart of the her rescuer, what will happen?? I love this story so much. I love watching it unfold. There are some things I did not see coming and the author did a great job on the world building. I could see it unfolding right before my eyes as she was telling the story.
